Prices, charts, sectors, exchange figures and company holdings come from CoinGecko's paid data service and are shown as received. A few summary figures, such as the weighted 24-hour change on the Cosmos screen and orbit averages, are calculated in the app from that data.
Prices and lists refresh about every minute or two while you use the app. Charts, sectors and venue data refresh less often because they change more slowly. Pull down on a list to check for newer figures.
The 24-hour change on the Cosmos screen is weighted by market value across the 250 largest assets, which keeps it consistent with the assets shown below it. Other sites may use a different set of assets or time window.
An orbit is a group of up to eight assets you choose. GalaXion charts their percentage change from a shared starting point, so assets with very different prices can be compared side by side.
They stay on your iPhone and aren't uploaded to a server, so they aren't backed up separately. If you delete the app, they're removed with it.
Yes. Open Cosmos, tap the gear icon and choose Display Currency. Ten currencies are available. Sector totals are reported in US dollars by the data source.
No. GalaXion is an information tool and doesn't offer trading, wallets or payments.
Check your internet connection and tap Try Again. If it continues, the data service may be busy; waiting a minute usually helps. Previously loaded figures usually remain available while you're offline.
